Screen Recorder

Record tutorials, bug reports and presentations straight from your browser.

Recording happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. WebM plays in Chrome, Firefox and VLC, and uploads directly to YouTube.

How to record

  1. Choose whether to include your microphone.
  2. Click Start and pick the screen, window or tab to share (tick "share audio" for tab sound).
  3. Click Stop, or stop sharing, and download the video.

Good to know

  • Nothing is uploaded, and there is no watermark or time limit apart from your device's memory.
  • Videos save as WebM, which YouTube and VLC accept directly.
  • Mobile browsers can't capture the screen. Use your phone's built-in recorder.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a time limit?

No fixed limit, but long high-resolution recordings use a lot of memory. Keep individual recordings under about 30 minutes.

Does it record system audio?

Chrome and Edge can share tab audio, and sometimes whole-screen audio on Windows. Other browsers may record only your microphone.

Is my recording private?

Yes. It stays in your browser until you download it.
