Fix a typo in a PDF
Select White-out and drag over the wrong word so it's covered. Then choose Text, click just where the word was, and type the correction in the same size. On the saved PDF the new text sits exactly where you placed it.
What stays the same
Your edits are added on top of each page; the original text, images and layout are not re-rendered, so the file stays sharp and its original text remains searchable. Form fields, links and bookmarks are kept.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
PDFs store text as positioned pieces, not paragraphs, so editing it in place usually breaks the layout. The reliable way is to cover the old words with white-out and type the new text on top, which is what this editor is built for.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is opened and saved entirely in your browser, so it's safe for contracts, forms and ID documents.
Can I type in Hindi, Tamil or other languages?
Yes. English and other Latin-script text is added as real, selectable PDF text. Text in other scripts is added as a sharp image so it looks exactly as typed.
Does white-out permanently remove text?
No. It covers the text visually, but the original words remain in the file and can be copied or found by search. To truly remove sensitive information, use a redaction tool in dedicated PDF software.
How do I sign a PDF?
Use the Pen tool to draw your signature on the page, or the Image tool to place a photo or scan of it. For documents that require a certified digital signature, use an eSign or DSC service instead.
