Find your bra size from two measurements, in centimetres or inches, and see it in US, UK, EU, French, Italian, Australian, Japanese and Indian sizes, with sister sizes. It's a starting point: brands size differently, so try it on.
How to use the bra size calculator
- Choose centimetres or inches.
- Enter your underbust: snug around your ribcage just under your bust.
- Enter your bust: loosely around the fullest part, standing up.
- Read your size in each system, your sister sizes, and the UK "+0" size to try if the band feels loose.

How the systems compare
- Bands: UK and US 28, 30, 32, 34… match EU 60, 65, 70, 75…; France, Belgium and Spain add 15 to the EU band (EU 70 = FR 85); Australia and New Zealand use UK band − 22 (UK 32 = AU 10); Italy numbers bands from 1 (EU 70 = IT 1 on Triumph's and Intimissimi's charts).
- Cups: Europe and France use single letters; the UK and Australia double some (DD, FF, GG); the US uses DD, DDD then G, H.
- Japan: sizes are written cup first (C75) and cups go up in 2.5 cm steps, so a Japanese cup is often a letter bigger than the European one for small cups.

Frequently asked questions
How do I measure for a bra?
Wear a thin, unpadded bra or none. Measure your underbust snugly around your ribcage, right under your bust, with the tape level all the way round. Then measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust, standing straight. Use centimetres or inches, but the same for both.
How is bra size calculated?
The band comes from your underbust and the cup from the difference between bust and underbust. In Europe the band is the underbust rounded to the nearest 5 cm and each cup is 2 cm, starting with AA at 10–12 cm. An underbust of 76 cm and a bust of 91 cm (15 cm apart) is EU 75B, which is 34B in the UK and US and 90B in France.
What is a sister size?
A size with the same cup volume on a different band: go down a band and up a cup, or up a band and down a cup. The sister sizes of 34B are 32C and 36A. Try one if the cups fit but the band is too loose or too tight.
Why do UK and US cup letters differ?
They match up to D, then the UK goes DD, E, F, FF, G and the US DD, DDD, G, H. So a UK 32E is a US 32DDD. Europe and France use single letters (A, B, C, D, E, F…), which is why an EU 70E is a UK 32DD.
Why do bra size calculators give different answers?
Because there's no single standard. Older charts add 4 or 5 inches to the underbust for the band, while many UK fitters now use the underbust itself (the "+0" method), which gives a smaller band and a bigger cup: 30 in and 36 in is 34B on the traditional charts but 30E by +0. Brands also cut differently, so treat any calculator as a starting point and check the brand's chart.
Which size do Indian brands use?
Indian brands label bras with UK/US-style inch bands (32, 34, 36) and letter cups. Some size from centimetre ranges like the European charts, others add inches to the underbust, so the same body can be one size apart between brands: use the size here as a start and try the brand's own chart.
