Photo Collage Maker

Combine several photos into one neat grid image.

How to make a photo collage

  1. Choose 2 to 9 photos, in the order you want them to appear.
  2. Pick a layout (2ร—1, 3ร—1, 2ร—2, 3ร—2 or 3ร—3) and a size: square, 4:5 post or 16:9.
  3. Set the gap between photos and the background colour, then download.

How photos are placed

Photos fill the cells left to right, top to bottom. Each photo is scaled to cover its cell and centred, so edges may be trimmed but nothing is squashed. Keep faces near the middle of each photo. The layout is picked for you based on how many photos you choose, and you can change it.

Sizes

  • Square: 1080 ร— 1080, for Instagram and WhatsApp.
  • 4:5 post: 1080 ร— 1350, which fills more of the Instagram feed.
  • 16:9: 1920 ร— 1080, for YouTube, slides and screens.

Example

A square 2ร—2 collage with the default 12-pixel gap has four cells of 522 ร— 522 pixels each, with even 12-pixel lines between and around them. A white gap looks clean; a black one looks like a film strip.

To split one big picture across several Instagram posts instead, use the Instagram grid maker.
