Organize PDF

See every page as a thumbnail, rearrange the pages into the right order, rotate sideways scans and drop pages you don't need.

How to organize a PDF

  1. Choose a PDF. A thumbnail of every page appears after a moment.
  2. Use โ† and โ†’ to move a page earlier or later, โŸณ to turn it 90ยฐ clockwise and โœ• to delete it.
  3. Click Save PDF. The button shows how many pages the new file will have.

What changes, and what doesn't

The new file contains your pages in the new order, with any rotations added. The pages themselves are copied exactly, so text stays selectable and scans keep their quality. Each thumbnail keeps its original page number as a label, which makes it easy to track where a page came from after moving it.

Example: sorting an application pack

You scanned a 9-page pack in the wrong order: the form is on pages 4โ€“6, a blank page slipped in at page 3, and the ID copy on page 9 is sideways. Move pages 4โ€“6 to the front, delete page 3, turn page 9 with โŸณ and save. The result is 8 pages in the order the application asks for.

Tips

  • For one quick change, the single-purpose tools are faster: Rotate PDF or Delete PDF pages.
  • On a phone, a PDF with many pages can take a little while to show all its thumbnails.

Frequently asked questions

Will the text stay selectable?

Yes. Pages are copied as they are, not converted to images; the thumbnails are only for the preview.

How many pages can I organize?

Up to 300 pages at once. For longer documents, split them first, organize each part and merge them again.

Can I combine files first?

Yes. Use Merge PDF, then organize the result.

Do bookmarks and form fields survive?

Filled-in answers stay visible, but the fields are no longer fillable and bookmarks are dropped, because pages are copied into a new file. Finish filling in forms first.

Is it private?

Yes. Thumbnails and the final PDF are created in your browser.
