Times are worked out in your browser with the open-source adhan library and shown in the town's own time zone, with summer time where it applies. We checked them against an independent astronomy library for thousands of places and dates, to within two minutes. Mosque timetables may add minutes of caution or use fixed times (for example a later Isha in Ramadan), so follow your mosque where it differs.

Frequently asked questions
How are prayer times calculated?
From the sun's position at your town on that date. Dhuhr is just after the sun crosses the meridian at midday, Maghrib at sunset, and Fajr and Isha when the sun is a set angle below the horizon (18° and 17° in the Muslim World League method). Asr is when a shadow reaches a set length.
Which calculation method should I use?
The one your local mosque or Islamic authority follows. The tool picks the method apps usually use in your country (for example Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, Karachi in Pakistan and India, ISNA in the USA and Canada, Muslim World League elsewhere), and you can change it. Methods differ mainly for Fajr and Isha: between the earliest and the latest, often by 15 to 30 minutes, and more in summer far from the equator.
What is the difference between standard and Hanafi Asr?
In the standard rule (Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali schools) Asr begins when an object's shadow equals its length plus its noon shadow; in the Hanafi rule, twice its length plus its noon shadow, so Asr is later. In London on 21 March 2026 that's 15:28 against 16:17.
Why are there no Fajr or Isha times in summer where I live?
Far from the equator the sky may not get dark enough in summer for the sun to reach the Fajr and Isha angles. The high-latitude rule then sets a time from a portion of the night: a seventh of the night (the automatic choice above 48°), the middle of the night, or a portion based on the angle. Where the sun doesn't set at all, those times are left empty.
How accurate is the Qibla direction?
It's the great-circle bearing to the Kaaba from your town's coordinates: from London about 119°, east-south-east. A phone compass shows magnetic north, which differs from true north by a few degrees in most places, so allow for that.
