How to use the PDF viewer
- Zoom: − and + step through 50% to 300%; Fit width fills the screen.
- Go to a page: type the number and press Enter, or open Thumbnails and tap a page.
- Search: type a word or phrase and press Search; the arrows move between matches, which are highlighted on the page.
- Print: opens your browser's print window with every page.
Zoom and screen size
At 100%, one PDF point is shown as one screen pixel, so an A4 page (595 × 842 points) is 595 pixels wide. On a phone whose page area is 358 pixels wide, Fit width sets the zoom to 358 ÷ 595 = 60%. Pages are redrawn sharply for high-resolution screens, up to twice the pixels.
Searching
Search ignores capital letters and accents, so "cafe" finds "Café". A phrase is found even when the PDF stores its words as separate pieces or breaks it over two lines: "annual report" matches "Annual" at the end of one line and "Report" at the start of the next.
Need the text itself? PDF to Text copies all of it, and PDF to Word makes it editable.
