Image to PDF

Turn photos, scans and screenshots into a single PDF, in the order you choose, without uploading them. Works with JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images.

How to convert images to PDF

  1. Choose one or more images or photos: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF or SVG (HEIC photos work in Safari).
  2. Reorder them with the arrows; each image becomes one page.
  3. Pick A4 with margins or Same as image.
  4. Create and download the PDF.

What happens to your photos

Phone photos are turned upright using their rotation data, so sideways pictures come out straight. JPG and other photos are re-saved at high quality (92%); PNG images go in untouched. GIF and BMP images, TIFF scans and SVG drawings are turned into PNG first, without losing detail, so screenshots and line art stay sharp, with SVGs drawn at least 1000 pixels on the long side. In A4 mode, landscape photos get a landscape page, and images are only ever shrunk to fit, never enlarged, so small images aren't blurred.

Example: a phone photo on A4

A 1200 ร— 1600 pixel photo on an A4 page with margins is scaled to about 193 ร— 257 mm and centred. With Same as image, the page would be 1200 ร— 1600 points instead, about 423 ร— 564 mm, which is why A4 is the better choice for anything you'll print or upload.

Good for

  • Combining photos of documents (ID cards, mark sheets, bills) into one file for an application.
  • Sending scanned pages or screenshots as a single PDF by email or WhatsApp.
  • Keeping receipts together for an expense claim.

If the PDF is too large for a form, use Compress PDF to size, or shrink the photos first with the Image compressor.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?

JPG (JPEG), PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP, plus AVIF in most browsers and HEIC photos in Safari. You can mix formats in one PDF. An animated GIF becomes one page showing its first frame.

How do I turn photos into one PDF?

Choose all the photos at once (or add them in batches), put them in order with the arrows, pick A4 or Same as image, then create and download the PDF. Each photo becomes one page.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The PDF is built in your browser, which makes it safe for ID documents and personal photos.

How many images can I add?

Up to 100 images, each up to 30 MB.

A4 or same as image?

A4 is best for printing and upload forms. 'Same as image' makes each page exactly the photo's size, which suits sharing on screens but prints very large.

Why is my PDF large?

Photos are kept at full resolution. Resize or compress them first, or compress the finished PDF with Compress PDF to size.
